　　2002年10月我来到天津，根本就没有想到这些美好的事情在等待着我！在我执教的时间里，我遇到了一位世界上最美丽的天津姑娘并同她结了婚；获得了国家友谊奖、海河特别荣誉奖；受到中国主要领导人的接见。为此，加拿大驻华大使专程到学院向我祝贺，我拍下大使与学生在一起交谈的场景。天津新华戴尔特国际商务专修学院[加拿大] 白瑞·欧凯福摄

　　When I came to Tianjin in October 2002 to teach English atDelterInternational Business Institute, I had no idea of thewonderfulthings that would happen to me! During my stay in Tianjin,I havemet and married a Tianjin girl who is the most wonderfulwoman inthe world; won the State Friendship Award; the very specialHaiheAward of Honor; met key Chinese leaders; and theCanadianAmbassador Joseph Carron especially came to DelterInternationalBusiness Institute to congratulate me and talk withmystudents.
