　　据法新社3月8日报道，其中一项研究的负责人、美国马里兰大学的迈克尔·米勒表示，笑给心血管带来的好处就像锻炼可以给心血管带来好处一样，因为笑可以促使血液流通。而北卡罗莱纳大学的另一项研究则表明，心情沮丧或缺少笑容却常常与诸如抽烟、吸毒等不健康的生活习惯联系在一起，同时还能将死亡的危险增加44％。

　　在调查过程中，米勒选择了20部让人发笑的喜剧片或是会使人紧张不安的悲剧片，并让20名平均年龄为33岁的，不吸烟、身体健康的志愿者观看这些影片。当志愿者观看影片时，研究人员检测他们血管内发生的变化。研究显示，观看悲剧片时，20名志愿者中有14人胳膊上的动脉血流量减少；相反，在观看喜剧影片时，20人中有19人的血流量增加。研究人员得到的结论是，在笑的时候，血流量会平均增加22％；而当人们有了精神压力时，血流量则会减少35％。

　　对此，米勒表示，笑和做有氧运动时差不多，但笑可以使我们远离由运动带来的伤痛和肌肉紧张等不良影响。但是，他也同时表示，笑也不可能取代体育锻炼，两者应该有规律地同时进行。他说：“我们建议人们一周进行3次体育锻炼，每次30分钟；另外，每天要笑15分钟，这样会对人们的身体健康有好处。”（国际在线王高山）Laughing is Good for the Heart
