　　David Cameron signalled the end of the council house for life yesterday as he warned that the looming budget cuts would stay in place for good. Council tenants should in future expect to have to move as their circumstances changed, he said. New tenancies could be reviewed every five years and couples offered smaller accommodation once their children left home.
