昨天上午的市民中心，深圳实验学校小学部的同学们为基里安夫妇献上了一份特殊的礼物。六年级学生蓝骄用流利的英语宣读了一封签名信，在信中，孩子们用真诚的话语，
表达了深圳学生对于大运会的期盼之情。蓝骄对基里安说：“到了2011年，我们中的很多人会成为大学生，那时我们希望为大运会服务。”基里安回答说：“我希望在2011年能够见到你们。”他的话立刻引起了孩子们的一片欢呼声。
最感人的一幕是师生们共同演绎的表演唱。在遥远的异国他乡，突然听到孩子们用天真无邪的声音唱出家乡歌曲《科罗拉多河上的月光》，基里安夫人流下了激动的泪水。（本报记者马强）
Students of the Primary Division of Shenzhen Experimental School sent a special gift to President Killian and his wife at the Citizen's Center on Thursday morning. Lan Jiao from Grade Six， read a letter in fulent English. In the letter， the students expressed their hopes that Shenzhen would host the 26th World Universi-ade. Lan said to Killian， "When the year of 2011 comes， we'll be taller and most of us will become college studensts. Hopefully， we could be volunteers for the Universiade." Kil-lian answered: "I hope I could see you in 2011."Teachers and students of the school also sang "Moonlight on the Col-orado" in English which moved Mrs. Killian to tears.(钟莉译)
