中新网华盛顿9月11日消息：美国总统乔治·布什今天表示，此次美国受恐怖袭击使数以千计的无辜死亡，美国一
定会将恐怖分子及包庇者绳之以法。
美国总统布什今天晚上回到白宫后，在美东时间20时30分(北京时间12日8时30分)向全国发表电视演说。
他说，面对恐怖袭击，美国人民只有“无言的和永不妥协的愤怒”
布什说，针对美国的恐怖袭击已使数以千计的人丧生，布什强调，虽然恐怖分子能破坏大楼，但绝不能损毁美国的根
基，因为美国是崇尚自由的国家，在此次袭击中，大家都看到了邪恶和恐怖。
布什指出，美国受到袭击后已指示情报部门追缉行凶者及幕后策划者，而他将对恐怖分子及其包庇者绳之以法。
他还称赞美国人民是伟大的人民，美国军队是“强大的”，“做好了一切准备”。
布什还感谢各国领袖发来的慰问，他希望大家联手战胜恐怖主义。
