　　一名妇女发现自己的裤子不合身时，竟然拨打999（英国报警电话号码）求助。

　　也有妇女报警说有只鸽子在他们的花园，也有人打999要求送外卖。其它一些无聊报警电话还内容包括抱怨手机电池用完了、看见一只巨大的猫头鹰站在电线杆上等。

　　英国的德文郡和康沃尔郡警察局曝光了他们近期接收到的浪费时间的电话。

　　首席警察巡官尼克·杰罗德说：“这些电话都很有趣，但我不知道他们拨打999要求退换裤子时脑袋里在想什么。紧急服务电话是在生死关头时，有人受伤或坏人仍在案发现场时拨打的。”
