1973年11月10日，基辛格第六次访华。12日，毛泽东主席在中南海会见基辛格博士，同他就中美关系和国际形势等问题进行广泛的交谈。基辛格此次访华期间双方重申了《中美联合公报》的原则，美方表示将“谋求加速正常化”，双方同意进一步发展贸易往来。
On November 10,1973,Kissinger came to China for his sixth visit to the country.Chairman Mao Zedong met him at Zhongnanhai on November 12.They held exten sive talks on the Sino-US relations,internation and other issuse.During Kissinger's stay in China,both sides reiterated the principles stated in the Sino-US Joint Communique. The US side said it would"seek ways for accelerating the process of normalization." Both side agreed to further their trade ties.
