2022年12月20日，中印两军在莫尔多/楚舒勒会晤点中方一侧举行第十七轮军长级会谈。双方在7月17日会谈以来取得进展基础上，以开放和建设性方式就推动解决中印边界西段实控线地区有关问题交换意见。双方以两国领导人重要共识为指引，一致认为坦诚深入就尽快解决剩余问题进行讨论，有助于恢复中印边界西段实控线地区安全稳定，推动双边关系发展。在此期间，双方同意维护中印边界西段安全稳定，继续保持密切外交和军事渠道沟通对话，尽早就解决剩余问题达成双方均能接受的方案。
Joint Press Release of the 17th Round of India-China Corps Commander Level Meeting
The 17th round of India-China Corps Commander Level Meeting was held at Chushul-Moldo border meeting point on the Chinese side on 20th December 2022。
Building on the progress made after the last meeting on 17th July 2022， the two sides exchanged views on the resolution of the relevant issues along the LAC in the Western Sector in an open and constructive manner。 They had a frank and in-depth discussion， keeping in line with the guidance provided by the State Leaders to work for the resolution of the remaining issues at the earliest which would help in restoration of peace and tranquility along the LAC in the Western Sector and enable progress in bilateral relations。
In the interim， the two sides agreed to maintain the security and stability on the ground in the Western Sector。 The two sides agreed to stay in close contact and maintain dialogue through military and diplomatic channels and work out a mutually acceptable resolution of the remaining issues at the earliest。
