Dan Buettner, author of Blue Zones, refers to some demographic locations as "blue zones." Blue zones refer to places that have some of the oldest living people in the world. People in these places come from: close-knit communities, daily exercise, social engagement and a plant-based/legume diet. In his book, he describes how people live healthier and longer lives by following these five ways of living. Perhaps there is something we can all learn from their healthy habits.
