　　今天故事的主人公是英国一位18岁的女子，Ebony Stevenson。

　　2018年12月2日的一天，她突然癫痫发作，被送去医院。想不到这一“睡”就是4天，醒来的时候还多出来一个婴儿？！

　　就这样生了一个女儿的Ebony醒过来也是一脸懵逼。经过检查后医生发现，Ebony居然有两个子宫！一个生孩子，一个来姨妈！

　　Ebony这种情况称为双子宫，3，000名女性中就有一个有双子宫。

　　Uterus didelphys， also known as a double uterus， is a condition where a woman is born with two uterus， to separate cervixes and sometimes two vaginas， though this is not always the case。

　　有双子宫的女性出生时就有两个子宫，有时还会伴有两个阴道。

　　It occurs because in a female foetus， the uterus starts out as two small tubes。 As the foetus develops， the tubes normally join to create one larger， hollow organ — the uterus。 Sometimes the tubes don‘t join completely and each one develops into a separate hollow organ so the woman is born with two wombs。

　　双子宫的出现，这是因为胚胎发育期，胚胎两侧苗勒管发育正常但未完全融合，各自发育形成双子宫，所以有的女人天生就有两个子宫。

　　This was made possible by the fact she has two uteruses - one is positioned towards her back so the pregnancy went unnoticed。

　　这是因为她有两个子宫 ——一个靠近后背，所以怀孕看上去不是很明显。

　　Neither Ebony nor her mum had any idea that she had two uteruses， but this allowed her to continue having regular periods throughout the pregnancy， disguising it even more。

　　Ebony的妈妈Sheree回忆说：“那天晚上10点左右，我听到Ebony对我说她头疼得厉害。所以我把她送进了浴室，突然她在浴室地板上癫痫发作。”

　　医护人员向Sheree询问她女儿是否怀孕，Sheree一口咬定“这不可能。”然而医生却坚持认为Ebony怀孕了，给她进行了紧急的剖腹产手术。

　　就这样12月3日Ebony生了一个女婴，体重为7磅10盎司。

　　等到Ebony12月6日醒来时，她突然变成了一个母亲。

　　The first time mum said： “I didn‘t think I even wanted kids， at least not for another 10 years and never expected to be a young mum。”

　　孩子出生后Ebony 39 岁的母亲Sheree和她的母亲——Ebony的祖母，56岁的Geraldine一直待在她身边，一直照顾着小女婴 ，并把她叫作Elodie。

　　12月13号女婴Elodie出院了，要正式见自己的叔叔阿姨了。

　　Both mum and baby remained in intensive care until finally being allowed home on December 13， where little Elodie was introduced to her uncles and aunts - Kennedy， 12， Poppy， eight， Pia， three and Navy， two。

　　12月13号，Ebony 和女婴Elodie出院了，Elodie首次被接回家里，迎接她的是她的叔叔阿姨们——12岁的Kennedy，8岁的Poppy，3岁的Pia和2岁的Navy~
