中国日报网站消息：为了寻求巴以间持久停火，美国中东问题特使安东尼-津尼已于1月3日重返中东。

　　据法新社报道，以色列国防部长本-埃利泽在津尼到达前数小时下令军队撤出了约旦河西岸的巴勒斯坦城镇。

　　以色列国防部声明说，埃利泽的这一命令是以色列一整套措施中的一个，“旨在缓解巴勒斯坦人民的反以情绪。部分 措施已经实行，其余的将在今天内执行。”以色列军队还撤出了杰宁，开放了杰宁的边防检查站。但数小时后，巴勒斯坦持枪 武装份子就在附近小城阿富拉开枪打死了两名以色列人。

　　津尼将于4日会见以色列总理沙龙，外交部长佩雷斯和巴勒斯坦领导人阿拉法特。
