  The bright moon hangs in the autumn sky, casting a silver glow on the earthly world. The Mid-Autumn Festival is coming! As one of China's four major traditional festivals, the sense of ceremony definitely cannot be ignored. 

  明月秋空悬,流银照人间。作为中国四大传统节日之一,我们习惯在中秋这一天与家人吃上一顿团圆饭,中秋节的仪式感除了吃饭,更少不了“吃饼”。如今,年轻人正用一种很新的方式给中秋增添仪式感。

  On September 27th, the hosts Dong Ye and Tatiana visited a cake shop in Guiyang, each trying their hand at making mooncakes, bringing joy to the celebration.

  9月27日,贵州国际传播中心主播董野和缇娅娜来到贵阳一家蛋糕店,各自上手体验了一次做月饼的快乐!

  Starting with mixing the fillings, on one side there's sugar, lard, and ham filling, while on the other side, there's egg yolk, mashed taro, and shredded pork. Both the sweet Cantonese-style mooncakes and the Guizhou ham mooncakes are baked. Which style is your favourite?

  面对摆放的两种截然不同的馅料和面皮,两人拿起桌上的制作教程仔细阅读。在蛋糕店老板的耐心指导下,从搅拌馅料开始,一边是糖、猪油、火腿肉馅,另一边蛋黄、麻薯、肉松,甜味的广式月饼和贵州人最爱的火腿月饼,经过搓揉、擀开、包裹,模具赋予其生动的样式后,放入烤箱进行烘烤。“压纹”是缇娅娜最开心的环节,平平无奇的面团因为一个个生动的图案,如同为月饼注入了灵魂。
