At the Changwon Shooting World Cup in 2022, Qi Ying won the gold medal, helping the Chinese shooting team to return to the pinnacle of the world after many years; in the following Asian Games, he won the championship with an astonishing performance; and at this Olympic Games, facing strong opponents and making mistakes at the start, he quickly adjusted his state and finally won the silver medal with a score of 44 hits, creating the best historical record for the Chinese men's skeet shooting project.
