　　“Whowouldhavethought20，10，fiveyearsago，thatChilewouldelectawomanpresident？Thankyouforinvitingmetoleadthisvoyage，”BachelettoldthousandsofjubilantsupportersoutsideherelectoralheadquartersindowntownSantiago.

　　社会党人米切尔·巴切莱特———一个曾经的政治流亡者———周日赢得大选，成了智利第一位女总统。她的胜利突出表明左翼在拉美进一步得势。

　　政府选举机构说，在几乎所有选票被统计之后，代表智利执政的中左派联盟的巴切莱特赢得了53％的选票，而反对党候选人塞巴斯蒂安·皮涅拉获得了47％的选票。

　　在位于圣地亚哥市中心的竞选总部外，巴切莱特对成千上万名欢呼雀跃的支持者们说：“20年，10年，甚至5年前，谁想得到智利将选出一位女总统？感谢你们邀请我领航。”
