昆明5200名学生都在干这件事通道即将关闭你来不来？|附小|小学|师大

由昆明市文明办、昆明市网信办和昆明市网络文化协会主办，都市时报承办的“云岭校园·首届学生英语风采大赛”自7月份开启投稿通道以来，已有来自昆明市23所学校的 5200多名同学踊跃参与。

开学以后，很多学校得知这次比赛后，纷纷加入到本次活动中。本着“广泛参与和交流学习”的初衷，经组委会经研究，决定将本次比赛的截稿时间由2017年9月15日延期至9月30日。请已为孩子投稿的老师和家长们知悉、理解。

比赛后续安排

对于很多家长关心的复赛时间，说明如下：

1. 为提升同学们的写作和演讲技巧，10月中旬（国庆假期结束后），组委会将邀请英语演讲方面的知名老师，针对所有投稿选手，举办多场免费赛前培训，欢迎家长和同学们届时参与；

2. 经过赛前指导和选手改稿后，组委会评审团将进行评定，确定进入复赛的选手名单和后续比赛时间及地点；

3. 都市时报英文微信公众号YunnanFocus将及时发布赛前培训时间和地点，比赛晋级选手名单和比赛赛程，请老师和家长关注。

A Wonderful Homestay

My story is made of three “H” words.

The first “H” is Homestay. This year, three boys from New York came to my family for homestay. They chose Kunming because it is the Spring City. They really loved the moderate weather here.

The second “H” is Harmony----the harmony between my family, my city and my foreign friends. We visited Western Hill, Green Lake and Kunming Museum. They were surprised Kunming was so big, beautiful and modern. I told them my city was developing very fast.

The third “H” is Hope. They hope to visit Kunming again, and I hope I can learn more English to introduce my beautiful hometown to more foreigners.

My Family

"It’s time for dinner!" with my grandmother’s yelling, six family members gathered around the table.

My grandma is the one who is in charge in my family. She can also cook lots of delicious dishes such as Red-cooked pork, Braised chicken. My grandpa has a nickname "Thunder God", because so loudly he snores after midnight, you would even mistake it for thunder. Let me tell you something about my father. He is a bridge engineer and he is very busy. He often goes on a business trip. My dad is strict with me. Sometimes I feel so nervous when he gives me a serious look. My mother is a nurse, so she is an angel in public’s eyes, but I don\'t think her that way. I wrote a composition about my mom. She was like a tiger in my opinion. Finally, I will introduce my brother to you, the “Little Monster”. You would ask me why I call him little monster? Because he is a moody boy, he may be happy in one minute but unhappy the next.

It is the happiest moment that all the family members go for a trip together. We would laugh and sing along the way. We truly enjoy ourselves whenever we spend time together.

I really feel happy in my ordinary but warm family. I hope the happiness would always be with us.

Kunming Is Getting Better

At present，Kunming is creating the national civilized city.More and more volunteers help to protect the public property, environment and obey the traffic rules. The most impressive thing is that the streets and ground get cleaner and cleaner.

All of the improvement should thank to sanitation workers, volunteers and our government. Maybe we couldn\'t dedicate to declaring the civilized city like what they do.But we can do anything that can keep our city better by ourselves. For example, litter rubbish into garbage can, follow the traffic lights.

Hope Kunming will be the national healthy and civilized city.

Let\'s Make Our City Better

Today, I am happy to share my story about my hometown and me with you. I live in Kunming, and it is a beautiful city. Kunming brings me up, and gives me the fresh air, blue sky, lovely flowers.

One day, I started to think what could I do to my city in return? I got an idea, in a weekend, my family members and I went to the parks to collect the abandoned plastic bottles on the ground. After that, with the help of the teachers, I made many plastic vases by these bottles and I gave people these vases. I think this activity is meaningful, and I will keep doing this. Let’s come together to makes our city better!

Do you know, what\'s my hobby? In fact,different people has different hobby . For example,Someone likes drawing. Someone likes swimming.

My hobby is reading,because it gives me knowledge,Story books tell me what is good and what is bad. Histoy books make me to Study for China. Comic books make me happy.

I think books are my best friends. They often help me when I\'m in trouble. I like reading! How abort you?

1. 演讲主题：Me, Home and the City

【选手围绕演讲主题，可自选角度，展开叙述。例如，可讲述自己成长过程、家庭或学校生活中有意义的事情。或是昆明创建全国文明城市以来，周围环境和公民素质发生的改变。】

2. 组别设置：小学组、初中组、高中组

3. 获奖比例：除一、二、三等奖外，大赛还将产生入围奖和优秀奖。

除学生单独投稿外，大赛也欢迎各位老师和各所学校组织学生投稿。对于组织优秀的个人和单位，组委会将颁发证书和奖金。

投稿须知

1.稿件字数要求：小学组：100-200词为宜；初中、高中组：300-600词为宜；

2.稿件要求为Word文档，并以附件形式发送到：southwestgate@163.com；

3.文档命名格式：“组别+学校+姓名”，如：小学组+武成小学+江妮妮。
