１月１２日，在基辅一个机场，乌克兰仪仗队士兵从乌驻伊维和士兵遗体的棺木前走过。当天，9日在伊拉克南部瓦西特省苏韦拉市近郊发生的弹药爆炸事件中死亡的8名乌驻伊维和士兵遗体被运回国内。目前乌克兰驻伊拉克部队共有１５８９人。
